Early Victorian 15ct Gold Three Stone Opal & Ruby Ring

308Z
220 Admirers

A pretty 15ct gold ring that was assayed in Birmingham in 1865. It has been claw set with three cabochon cut opals with two rectangular cut claw set rubies in between. The fine gold wire work is typical of the period and compliments the stones.

It sits low on the finger so it is a practical ring to wear as a dress ring.
