An impressive cluster ring that was made in platinum circa 1920. It has been claw set with a large oval cut zircon that has an estimated weight of over five carats. Don’t be confused by the name. Zircon is a natural, magnificent, and underrated gemstone that has been worn and treasured since ancient times. There are many different colours but the electric blue was a favourite colour and was used in jewels in the early years of the twentieth century. Around it are ten well matched old mine cut diamonds. The gallery is so pretty with pierced scroll motifs. It was made circa 1920.
