Early 19th Century 18ct Gold, Ruby & Diamond Five Stone Ring

659X

Written by Olly Gerrish

This is a beautiful 18ct gold ring that was made circa 1830. It has been claw set with two rubies and three claw set old mine cut diamonds within a highly ornate border with a three leaf motif on the shoulders. The shank is a fluted design. I am always amazed that these charming early rings survive so well over the years and hopefully this ring will find a new home and will continue to be loved and cared for.
