Art Deco Ruby & Diamond Rectangular Ring
This is a beautiful ring which has a central ruby and is surrounded by a mixture of old brilliant cut diamonds and rose diamonds. The diamonds are millegrain set which is a technique used in the early 20th century when working with platinum. The result is a very neat look unlike the claw set stones of the Victorian period. It is also worth examining the back of the ring which has been very well finished unlike the drilled holes in some modern rings. It would be ideal as an engagement or dress ring.
