A pretty Art DecoA movement within the arts between the two Great Wars (1920-1935) across Europe and the US, characterized by its clean, geometric designs. The aesthetic was intended to celebrate an age of progress and the modernity of the machine. More ring made circa 1920-1930. Coming out of Mogok, known as the 'Valley of Rubies', the gemstones, along with sapphires and spinels, have been sourced there for at least 1,500 years, and are prized for their luminosity. More origin which has an interesting octagonal cut. The two diamonds are good bright stones and offset the sapphire very well. It would make a lovely engagement ring.
