A striking and stylish 18ct white gold Art Deco ring that was made in the 1920s. It is typical of the geometric style that was prevalent at the time which was a reaction to the earlier Art Nouveau botanical motifs. In the centre is a beautiful Royal blue square cut sapphire. It is surrounded by sixteen well matched transition cut diamonds with a border of small calibre cut sapphires within millgrained settings. The shoulders have also been set with small diamonds with engraved lines. It sits low on the finger so it is a practical ring to wear as an engagement or dress ring.
