A fascinating 18ct white gold ring with a platinum top that was made in the 1920s. It has been double claw set with a water opal. This stone is a clear to translucent gemstone with brilliant flashes of colour. It is hard to show how it really looks in the photographs as it is such an extraordinary and prized stone.
