This is an unusual Art DecoA movement within the arts between the two Great Wars (1920-1935) across Europe and the US, characterized by its clean, geometric designs. The aesthetic was intended to celebrate an age of progress and the modernity of the machine. More ring made by them that is typical of the geometric style of the 1920s. The Art Deco period was a reaction to the flowing botanical motifs that had gone before and was a much bolder period. This ring is true to the new style and has been set with two baguetteFrench for “rod.” A type of rectangular step-cut comprising fourteen parallel, narrow facets running the length of the stone. Popular in mid-century eternity bands. More sapphires with canted sides with two small diamonds at either end and a line of diamonds in the centre. There is millgrain detail throughout. It sits low on the finger and curves beautifully around it. A special ring that would make a stunning engagement ring.
