It has been set with shaped onyxOnyx is an opaque black variety of polycrystalline chalcedony quartz. More with a spider’s web design above it set with diamonds. The early Art Deco period is really interesting as the jewellers were experimenting with different geometric forms but still calling on earlier designs.
It sits low on the finger so it is a practical ring to wear.
