Rare Find
This is a fantastic Art Deco ring that was made in the 1920s. It is typical of the period with the geometric design. The Madeira citrine is a wonderful colour and has been cut to best show off it’s colour with a retangular cut table and faceted to the reverse. Madeira citrine is one of the most sought-after varieties of citrine. This gemstone is named after the fortified wine made in the Madeira Islands, just off the coast of Portugal. On either side small diamonds are set in a step cut design within millgrain settings. It is a fantastic and unusual ring.
