An unusual diamond shaped ring that was made in the early 1920s. The shank and underneath the gallery is 18ct gold. The top is platinum. Platinum is a strong metal that is often used to set diamonds instead of silver which was the old style of setting pre 1900. The graduated diamonds are bezel set with millegrain detail in a diamond shaped design with a larger diamond in the middle that almost seems to float in the centre. A great ring to wear all the time as an engagement ring as it sits low on the finger, looks great and is very pretty!
