Art Deco 18ct Gold Egyptian Revival Ring set with a Cabochon Emerald & Rose Cut Diamonds

506S
Rare Find
Written by Olly Gerrish

This is a beautifully designed 18ct gold ring that was most likely made between 1922-1925 when a team headed by British Egyptologist Howard Carter began excavating the tomb of Tutankhamun in the Valley of the Kings, Egypt. The design incorporates Egyptian motifs. It has been set with emerald cabochon that hints at the scarab that adorned so many ancient Egyptian objects. There are three small rose diamonds above it. A stunning ring that can be worn as a dress ring.
