An unusual 18ct gold ring that was most likely made in the 1940-1960 period. The design harks back to an earlier Arts and Crafts style. The wide band has raised gold detail with a single cut diamond on either side. In the centre is a very pretty curved rectangular cut mid blue sapphire that weighs approximately just under two carats. There is great attention to detail with brushed gold within the gold wire and a fine line going around the centre of the band. A great ring to wear on a daily basis.
