Early 20th Century 18ct Gold & Platinum Crossover Ring set with Diamonds & a Sapphire

240X
80 Admirers
Written by Olly Gerrish

A lovely example of a crossover ring that was made circa 1910-1920. It is made from 18ct yellow gold with a platinum top and has been claw set with an old mine cut diamond and a stunning sapphire in a similar size and shape. The diamond weighs approximately 0.80 carats and the sapphire weighs an estimated one carat.  The shoulders have each been claw set with four graduated old mine cut diamonds.

This beautiful ring would make an ideal engagement ring.
