Early 20th Century French 18ct Gold & Platinum, Diamond & Ruby Crossover Ring

Written by Olly Gerrish

A beautiful 18ct gold and platinum ring that was made circa 1910 in France. It has a botanical feel about it and has been claw set with an old mine cut diamond and a beautiful ruby that displays pinky red and purple flashes. The shoulders have been a raised edged and have been claw set with graduated. old mine cut diamonds. It is a very pretty design with the two larger gem stones set at an angle and framed by the diamond set shoulders.

It would make a gorgeous engagement ring.
