Edwardian 18ct Gold & Platinum, Opal & Diamond Hexagonal Cluster Ring

909X
40 Admirers Rare Find
Written by Olly Gerrish

This is a very pretty 18ct gold and platinum ring that was made circa 1900-1910. It has been set with six oval well matched cabochon cut opals with a diamond in the centre. Around the opals is a border of small diamonds in a hexagonal shape.  The trifurcated shoulders give this ring a light look. This style was very popular in the early 1900s and rings similar to this one were set with different gemstones.

It can be worn on a daily basis and sits low on the finger so it is practical to wear.
