Edwardian 18ct Gold & Platinum Diamond Cluster Ring

775Z
89 Admirers Rare Find
Written by Olly Gerrish

A pretty 18ct gold and diamond cluster ring with a platinum top that was made circa 1900-1915. In the centre is a transition cut diamond that has an approximate weight of just over half a carat. It is a gorgeous bright white stone. Around it are ten smaller diamonds that have an approximate weight of 0.40 carats.  All the stones are bright and well matched and have been set in rub over settings with millegrain detail. These are practical settings as they don’t catch on clothing unlike claw settings, so this ring would make an ideal engagement ring.

The diamonds are really good bright stones in this pretty ring.
