Edwardian 18ct Gold & Platinum, Diamond Daisy Cluster Ring

Written by Olly Gerrish

A very pretty 18ct gold ring with a platinum top and shoulders that was made circa 1900-1910. This style is traditionally known as a daisy cluster ring that was popular at the time. In this ring there is an old European cut carat diamond in the centre surrounded by ten smaller single cut diamonds arranged in scalloped and millegrained settings on a slightly lower level. The diamonds are very white and bright stones. It sits low on the finger so it is a practical ring to wear as an engagement ring.
