			The name Giardinetto comes from the Italian word for “Little garden” and the naturalistic style first appeared towards the end of the 17th century. It gathered popularity in the 18th century onwards. This ring dates from around 1760-1780 and is composed of an openwork foliate cluster set with three flat cut pale rubies, three small diamonds and a peridotA variety of chrysolite. It is the gem of variety of olivine. The colour is generally a warm olive or yellowish green.
