French Art Deco Platinum Ring set with Onyx & Diamonds

A stylish platinum ring that was made in France in the 1920s. It has been set with an octagonal cut piece of onyx with a rub over and millgrain set diamond in the centre. Around the onyx echoing the octagonal design are eighteen diamonds. The combination of onyx and diamonds was often used in the Art Deco era as it defined the Jazz age with its edgy look.
