French Art Deco Platinum Lilac Sapphire & Diamond Ring

827Y
260 Admirers
Written by Olly Gerrish

A smart platinum ring that was made in France in the 1920s. It has been claw set with a beautiful pale lilac sapphire that has an approximate weight of just under six carats. Lilac sapphires are considered to be rare gemstones. Their unique colour and limited availability make them highly coveted by collectors and gem enthusiasts. It is a very pretty stone and is highlighted by step cut shoulders claw and millgrain set with small diamonds on either side. This design is typical of the Art Deco period.

It is a gorgeous ring and would make an ideal engagement ring.
