Edwardian 18ct Gold & Platinum, Emerald & Diamond Cluster Ring

415U

Written by Olly Gerrish

A very good looking 18ct gold ring with a platinum top that was made around 1910. It has been set with an emerald that is most likely of Columbian origin in a gold setting surrounded by eleven diamonds in platinum settings. The emerald is a lovely mid green colour and the diamonds are well matched and very bright white stones. There is millegrain detail throughout. It sits low on the finger so it is a practical ring to wear and would be suitable for an engagement or dress ring
