Early 20th Century Platinum Ring set with a Ceylon Sapphire Surrounded by Rose Diamonds

313X
Written by Olly Gerrish

A very pretty platinum ring that was made circa 1910. It has been rub over set with a palish blue Ceylon sapphire that has an approximate weight of 3.39 carats. Pale blue sapphires are in a class of their own and it is a matter of personal taste whether you like them or not. Around the sapphire are claw and rub over set rose cut diamonds that compliment the stone. The effect is a soft and beautiful look when worn.

It would make a perfect engagement ring.
