Early 20th Century French 18ct White Gold & Platinum, Sapphire & Diamond Cluster Ring with Calibre Cut Sapphires on the Outside

847X
40 Admirers Rare Find
Written by Olly Gerrish

A stunning Art Deco cluster ring that was made circa 1920 in France.  It is 18ct white gold and platinum and has been claw set with a beautiful cornflower blue sapphire with ten claw set well matched white diamonds around it.  The scalloped edge has been set with calibre sapphires. There is added millgrain detail which really makes this ring so special.

It sits low on the finger so it would be a practical ring to wear on an every day basis as an engagement ring.
