Early 20th Century 18ct Gold & Platinum, Aquamarine & Rose Diamond Ring

68W
194 Admirers
Written by Olly Gerrish

A gorgeous platinum ring that has been rub over set with a large aquamarine that has an approximate weight of nearly four and a half carats. It is surrounded by small rose diamonds with further rose diamonds set in to the shoulders.  There is millgrain detail throughout. Aquamarine, the dazzlingly blue birthstone for the month of March, has one of the most unique hues amongst precious stones.  Its rich colour has long been a symbol of youthfulness, good health and hope.

It was made in the early 1920s and is as wearable now as it was then.
