Rare Find
A fabulous French 18ct gold clip that was made by Dumont Buchard et Cie, a well known firm who made pieces for many of the great houses in Paris such as Lacloche Freres and Van Cleef & Arpels. They received a gold medal at the Exposition Internationale in 1925. They also received the Grand Prix a the Exposition Coloniale in 1931 as a maker for Van Cleef & Arpels.
This clip is beautifully made and has been set with calibre cut emeralds within a stylised design that typifies the Art Deco era.
