Mid 20th Century Platinum Cluster Ring set with a Burma Sapphire & Diamonds

A beautiful cluster ring that was made circa 1940-1950. It has been claw set with a stunning Royal blue cushion cut sapphire that is of Burmese origin. It is surrounded by fourteen bright white small brilliant cut diamonds in rub over settings. Unheated Burma sapphires are hard to find as most of our sapphire rings have been set with Ceylon sapphires. Burma sapphires have a wonderful rich depth of colour.

This ring is accompanied with a gemmological certificate that states that the sapphire is an unheated natural stone from Myanmar (Burma) and has an approximate weight of 1.45 carats.
