Late 19th Century French 18ct Gold Signet Ring with Intaglio of a Crest

822Z
Rare Find
Written by Olly Gerrish

A fantastic heavy gauge 18ct gold signet ring that was made in France. The ring once belonged to a French Marquis and has an intaglio of a crest with hunting dogs supporters holding a shield with stars and a half moon and clovers. Above is a cornet. The shoulders are a stylised leaf design.

Late 19th-century French 18ct gold signet rings are highly prized for their exceptional craftsmanship and rich heraldic history.
