Georgian Flat Cut Almandine Garnet Drop Pansy Earrings

458X
40 Admirers
Written by Olly Gerrish

A good pair of 9ct gold Georgian earrings that were made circa 1820. They are in the form of two pansies with leaves above. The stones are almandine garnets that are wonderful purplish red stones and have been sliced thin and laid on to a foiled ground.

When worn they articulate beautifully.
