Georgian 9ct Gold Round Locket with Engine Turned Detail

A neat looking locket that was made circa 1830. It has engine turned detail with a plain cartouche in the centre that you could have initials engraved on. The edges are repousse work featuring leaves and flowers. The front hinges open so that you can put a photograph or lock of hair inside. The reverse is glazed.

It can be worn with either side showing.
