Written by Olly Gerrish

A beautiful late 19th century 18ct gold ring that was made circa 1880.  It has been set with an impressive large emerald. The emerald is an octagonal cut stone and is a natural Colombian stone with minor clarity enhancement.  The claw setting and open back allows light to enter the emerald which is a beautiful vivid saturated green and has an approximate weight of 1.60 carats. It is surrounded by sixteen claw set sparkling old mine cut diamonds. The shank is a beautiful fluted and woven design where it widens to meet the top giving this ring an important look.

It would make an amazing engagement or dress ring.

This ring comes with a gemmological certificate.
