French Early 20th Century 18ct Gold & Platinum Two Stone Diamond Ring with Diamond Set Scroll Shoulders

Written by Olly Gerrish

An unusual 18ct gold and platinum French ring that was made circa 1900. It is in the Art Nouveau style that was popular at that time and referenced botanical subjects. In this case it can be likened to two flower buds with curling stems.  The two principal claw set diamonds are well matched old European cut stones and have an approximate weight of 0.45 carats each. On either side is a small diamond then four rose diamonds set in to each of the shoulders.

It is such a pretty look and would make a lovely engagement ring.
