Edwardian 18ct Gold & Platinum, Aquamarine & Diamond Ring

A ring that is so typical of the Belle Epoque era, circa 1900-1910. In the centre is a beautiful claw set aquamarine that contrasts so well with the old mine cut and rose diamonds that surround it. The seawater colour of aquamarine has given this gemstone its name as the word “aquamarine” is derived from the Latin word for seawater. The shank is 18ct gold and the top is platinum. A wonderful dress ring that will never disappoint when worn.
