Edwardian 18ct Gold Double Snake Ring

224S
Rare Find
Written by Olly Gerrish

This ring is a heavy gage and was made in Birmingham in 1903.  It is composed of two beautifully modelled entwined snakes.  The snake motif in antique jewellery represented “Eternal love and wisdom”, so pieces such as this ring would have been a gift from an admirer.  It is in great condition and is really comfortable to wear.
