Early 20th Century 18ct Gold & Platinum Two Stone Diamond Crossover Ring

Written by Olly Gerrish

A very pretty 18ct gold and platinum ring that was made circa 1910. It has been claw set with two early brilliant cut diamonds in a cross over design. There are further claw set small diamonds set in to the shoulders. At that time the influence of the Art Nouveau style was manifesting itself in furniture and textiles. Jewellery also adopted the sinuous style that was typical of the period.

This ring would make a lovely engagement ring.
