Early 19th Century French 18ct Gold Flat Cut Garnet Drop Flower Earrings

163Z
Rare Find

A fantastic pair of early 19th century earrings that were made in France circa 1780-1820.  They have been set with well matched flat cut almandine garnets that have been foiled to the reverse to give extra luminescence. There is lovely unusual leaf and branch detail in between the flowers. They have hinge back fittings that go through the ear from behind.

A rare pair of earrings to wear with care.
