Art Nouveau 15ct Gold & Sapphire Pendant

An unusual and very pretty 15ct gold pendant that was made circa 1910. At that time there was a reaction to the rigid and fussy Victorian style to a more fluid natural style. This pendant is typical of the new look with leaves and buds holding a central sapphire. There are three further sapphire drops. The sapphires are a beautiful cornflour blue colour and are from Ceylon. It looks really pretty when worn
