Rare Find
An unusual brooch of a goose that was made circa 1880-1900. He is beautifully modelled in silver and gold and is covered in claw set graduated old mine cut diamonds and rose diamonds that have an approximate total weight of four carats. He also has two small cabochon ruby eyes.
A goose symbolises lifelong fidelity, deep loyalty, and marital bliss because geese mate for life and fiercely protect their partners and families.
