Rare Find
A beautiful pendant that exhibits the best of early 20th century workmanship. It is platinum and is a geometric design but still retains the lightness and delicacy of the Edwardian period so I would date it to be around 1920. It has been set with a mixture of oval cut, kite shaped and calibre cut sapphires with well matched graduated small round diamonds and rose diamonds around them. The articulated ribbon motif and the sunburst motif are particularly finely made. The 9ct white gold chain is a later addition.
When worn it looks stunning.
