A very pretty 15ct gold heart shaped pendant that was made circa 1910. It has been set in yellow gold with ten well matched Royal blue sapphires and ten small old mine cut diamonds in platinum settings. Hearts were extremely popular in the early 1900s. It was a romantic period and hearts in all forms were worn as rings, pendants, bracelets and necklaces.
This heart pendant is as wearable now as it was over a hundred years ago.
