A smart 18ct gold ring that was made in London in 1898. It has been set with a large old mine cut diamond that weighs approximately one carat, within a star setting. It is called a gypsy ring because of the lucky star setting around the stone. This style of ring would have been given as a token of esteem, literally meaning that “You are the star in my life”.
