Victorian 18ct Gold, Five Stone Burma Ruby Ring

451Y
120 Admirers Rare Find
Written by Olly Gerrish

A gorgeous 18ct gold ring that was made circa 1880. It has been claw set with five well matched natural Burma rubies. They are all cushion cut stones with small diamond points (as they are called) along the edges on both sides that serve to give the ring a good line and also add that subtle twinkle. Five stone rings are said to represent the five qualities of a good relationship.  love, commitment, trust, communication and empathy.

This ring is accompanied with a gemmological certificate that states the five rubies are natural unheated stones from Myanmar (Burma-Mogok mine)
