Victorian 18ct Gold Double Snake Ring set with Diamonds

466U
Written by Olly Gerrish

A sweet 18ct gold ring that features two entwined snakes. Each of the snake’s heads have been set with an old mine cut diamond. Their bodies are entwined with the tails wrapping around the heads and the snake’s eyes have been set with tiny diamonds. Snake rings were popular in the Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian eras and signify the union of two people in eternal love. This ring was made circa 1900-1910. A perfect engagement ring.
