Rare Find
A beautiful and impressive natural pearl and rose diamond overlapping double heart ring that was made circa 1880. The large pear shaped natural pearls are well matched and a wonderful pinky grey colour. They are surrounded by rose cut diamonds with a bow above that has also been set with rose diamonds. Double heart rings were very popular in Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian times. They represented entwinement, a sentimental but very charming idea.
It would make a wonderful engagement ring or dress ring.
