Victorian 18ct Gold Coily Snake Ring set with a Pear Shaped Diamond

183Z
Rare Find
Written by Olly Gerrish

A particularly good example of an 18ct gold snake ring that was made circa 1860.  It has been set with a high domed old mine cut pear shaped diamond in it’s head with two small old mine cut diamonds in it’s eyes. It is a wonderful fluid design and wraps around the finger realistically.

The traditional meaning of this benevolent looking serpent is “Eternal love” so what a perfect engagement ring.

Please note that this ring can be sized but there may be a charge to size it up.
