Late Victorian 18ct Gold, Diamond Cluster Ring

206S

Written by Olly Gerrish

How many diamonds does it take to say ‘I love you’? Ten, on this occasion, snug within a daisy cluster. Perhaps to celebrate a ten year anniversary? Or simply as an impressive engagement ring? This late Victorian example, circa 1880, of a classic style is set with good sized, bright and well matched cushion cut diamonds, which, due to their high crowns, throw out an abundance of fire and sparkle and the silver tipped claws enhance the white of the stones. It is a beautiful ring.
