An unusual 18ct gold and pale blue enamel ring that was made circa 1833. There is an inscription inside the shank. “Susan Divitery Aug 13th 1833 Aet (aged) 39”. so it is a memorial ring. It is composed of a heart set with small diamonds in a flower motif which is most likely a Forget me not and sends that message to the wearer. The shank is highly ornate and has been set with a small old mine cut diamond on either side.
A beautiful ring to wear with care.
