Georgian 15ct Gold & Silver Two Row Old Mine Cut Diamond Ring

A beautiful Georgian ring that was made circa 1820. It has a 15ct gold shank and has been pinched collet set in silver with twenty old mine cut diamonds in a gentle curve across the top.  There is a lovely twinkly quality to old mine cut diamonds that cannot be reproduced in modern brilliant cut diamonds. This is because the old mine cut diamonds were cleave cut and are deep stones with less facets. The result is a lovely subtle glint that you will never tire of.
