Georgian 15ct Gold & Silver, Emerald & Diamond Ring

A lovely 15ct gold Georgian ring that was made circa 1780-1800. It has been rub over set in silver with a foiled rectangular cut emerald . On either side are two pinched collet set old mine cut diamonds within an open pierced design. The design is typical of mid to late 18th century rings with a shell motif to the reverse and ornate scribed shoulders. We advise that this ring should not be sized as it has an original shank with a central motif on the back.
