Book Your Virtual ConsultationA beautiful 15ct gold and 9ct gold Georgian ring that has had a new shank as the old one was very thin and worn. The top has been claw set with a dendritic agate surrounded by vivid and lively cushion cut rubies that have an approximate total weight of 1.26 carats. Dendritic Agates are actually chalcedony, interspersed with dark black or brown inclusions of manganese or iron oxides that form in tree like patterns. These stones were highly prized in the Georgian era and as you can imagine they looked stunning with the fashions from that period. The rubies set the agate off beautifully.
This ring sits low on the finger and is an ideal dress ring.
